Rationale

N9 needs a working VNC client which would support VKB, previous versions are only usable in N950 which has HW keyboard. VNC Client is also listed in the missing application list:

Harmattan community version

I've ported and released Presence VNC v0.8 for Harmattan in here http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1194229&postcount=13 That was just direct port from N900, and is missing working VKB, not optified and dialogs really crappy looking.

Candidate for Ovi Store submission

I've been porting Presence VNC v0.9 version for Harmattan. My work-in-progress version includes:

   - working VKB on N9
   - improved settings UI to fit N9 a bit better 
   - also done bunch of other small improvements to the code
   - fully optified, so it is ready for Ovi Store submission.

Encryption is not supported so in realvnc sergver you need to change settings like this to "prefer off" or "prefer: on" (always on will not work):

Source code will be released to gitorious if this submission is accepted as store candidate and when application passes Ovi QA.
